Arrivee a Iguazu avec 1 heure de retard. Nous avons eu de le pluie tout du lomg depuis BA. Le paysage a change puisque nous sommes dans un endroit tropicale : c est vert, palmiers.

Je pose mes affaires et pars pour reserver mon billet de depart pour Tucuman. 27 heures c est trop alors je m arrete en route. Puis depart pour le Bresil et oui les chutes d Iguazu sont dans 2 pays. J ai traverse la frontiere mais je n ai pas eu de tampons sur mon passport car il n y a pas de bureau de douane quand c est temporaire L Je n avais pas un sou Bresilien, et j etais dans un pays ou je ne parlais pas la langue. C etait assez bizarre mais c est l aventure.

 Les chutes etaient impressionantes(cf photos). Il y avait des papillons de toutes les couleurs partout et des coatis (cf photos). Je les appelle grands nez.

Au retour a l auberge, je partageais ma chambre avec en autres, une americaine Alex avec qui j ai dine en compagnie de David ( de Cannes) et Pablo (Argentin). J ai mange du BIFE DE CHORIZO : de la viande de boeuf= du beurre J

Puis j ai discute avec Valeria (Argentine) de 26 and qui travaille depuis l age de 18 ans et qui estudie apres le travail pour devenir comptable, puis consultante en finance. On a parle de la vie en Argentine et de la difficulte des jeunes pour s installer.

 

08/04

Direction Iguazu cote Argentin : C etait epoustouflant( cf photos). J ai pris plein de photos .

J ai recontre David puis Alex avec qui j ai fait un bout de chemin. Puis j ai pris le bateau pour aller sur l Ile Margarita pour avoir une meilleure vue. Il faisait super chaud et j aurai du prendre mon maillot car on pouvait se baigner. C etait super de se balader dans la foret et de prendre le petit train pour aller a la Gorge du Diable.

Avec Alex et Anat (Israelienne), nous sommes parties a l endroit ou l on peut voir les cotes bresiliennes et paraguaiennes.  A la nage c est facile de traverser, mais c est interdit.

Ensuite nous sommes allees voir une maison en bois (Aripuca)qui represente un piege mais en tres grande dimension qu utilisaient les indiens pour chasser (je la mettrais + tard). Puis nous sommes allees dans un peitit village. Je suis rentree a l auberge et j ai fini mon livre allongee dans le hamac au son de musique salsa.

Depart vers 21.30 pour Tucuman et Adam (Israelien) a pris le bus avec moi mais lui il continue sur Salta : 27 heures en tout !!!

 

10/04

Arrivee a Tucuman vers 19h et je suis crevee. Jana (Allemande), que j avais rencontre a  Iguazu etait partie avant pour Tucuman le matin du 9/04 et nous avions decide de faire le nord de Tucuman ensemble. Elle m attendait a la station de bus.

On est parti diner et nous avons rencontre Silvia (Argentine), une vraie piplette (pire que  moi) qui nous a raconte ses aventures sentimentales avec un francais !!! On devrait la voir ce soir.

 

 

11/04

 

Nous sommes parties a El Cadillal. Il n y a pas grand chose : un grand lac et on a pris de coups de soleil. On a rencontre 2 dames qui attendaient le bus qui n est jamais venu !!! Elles nous ont donne un avocat (enorme), un citron et un pamplemousse.

Ne voyant toujours pas venir le bus, on a pris un « remise », c est comme les colectivos au Chili.

Ce soir nous sortons avec Silvia. J espere que l on va pouvoir en placer une.Je vous tiens au courant.

07/04

 

arrived at Iguazu with 1 hour delay caused by the rain, all the way from BA. The lanscape has changed and we can tell that we are in a tropical area.: it is gree and there some palm trees.

Dumped my stuff and went to reserve my ticket to Tucuman. 27 hours it is too much so I have decided to stop in between.

Then  departure to Brazil and yes the Iguazu falls are in 2 countries. I crossed the border mais no stamp on my passport since there is no custom office since it is only temporary L I had no Brasilian money and was in a country where i did not understand the language (weird) but it is adventure..

The falls are very impressive.(see photos). There were colourful butterflies everywhere and some coatis (see photos). I call them big nose.

Back at the hostel, I shared my room with amongst others, an american girl Alex with whom I dined and with ( French from Cannes) and Pablo (Argentian). I had a BIFE DE CHORIZO : beef it was very tender like butter J

Then I talked to  Valeria (Argentian) 26 who has worked since she was 18 and she studies after work to be an accountant and then a consultant in finance. We chatted about the life in Argentina and the diffulties the young people encounter when they want to settle.

 

08/04

Direction Iguazu Argentian side : It was breath taking (see photos). Took a lot of pictures.

Met David then Alex with whom I walked a bit. Then I went on a boat to cross to Margarita Island to have a better view. It was very hot and I wished I had taken my swimming costume; we were allowed to swim. It was great to walk in the forest and get on the train to go to the Deavil’s throat.(see photos). Gargantua del Diablo.

 

09/04

With Alex and Anat (Israel), we went to a place where we can see the Brasilian and Paragayan coasts. We could swim across but it is forbidden..

Went to see a massive wooden house (Aripuca) which represents a trap used by the indiens when they hunted.(photo to follow). Then in a small village. Went back to the hostel where I finished my book in the hamac listening to salsa. I will have one in my new house.

Departure at 21.30 to Tucuman and Adam (Israel) tok the us with me but he carried on to Salta : 27 heures in total !!!

Arrived at Tucuman at 19h and I am dead. Jana (German), whom I had met in Guazu, left Iguazu yesterday  and we had decided to go round the north of Tucuman together. She was waiting for me at the bus station.Went for diner and met Silvia (Argentian), a chatter box, worse than me !!! She told us a love life with a french guy !!! We should meet her tonight.

 

 

11/04

 

We went to El Cadillal. Nothing much to see: a big lake and we got sunburns. Met 2 Argentian ladies who wited for thr bus which never turned up!!! We chatted and they gave us an avocado (massive), a lemon and a grapefruit.

No sign of the bus so we took a  « remise », it is like the colectivos in Chile.

Tonight we are going out with Silvia. I hope to be able to put a word in. Keep you posted.
